Possible ancient language in the Americas

Postby Newby » 2022-07-10, 21:50

Hello
I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on the recent cave markings found in Tennessee Dunbar caves, such as this image shows what looks like writing on the cave wall.
The news coverage said it was dated 6000 years ago, preceding Sanskrit by about 500 years. Although the news article was confusing and poorly done. It was discovered by archaeologists from University of Tennessee and university of the South (Sawanee).

Any thoughts?
It looks to me to be more modern letters in middle eastern and western alphabet development. But it has been academically studied and claimed as not being modern graffiti.

I hope the links work here.
