Dear language enthusiasts

I’m writing my PhD thesis about constructed languages and their speech communities. I want to find out who the people behind the languages are. I have devised a questionnaire to gather basic information. This will be completed by a second questionnaire and in-depth interviews.

I’d really appreciate your help. So, if you have 5 to 15 minutes, please follow the link below and fill in the questionnaire.

Here is the link: https://conlangsstepone.limequery.com/493868?lang=en

If you have any questions or concerns, just comment below.

Thank you so much!

Best regards,

Lisa

You may be interested in posting this at the ZBB. http://verduria.org/

There exist active conlang-creating communities in Spanish and Polish (and maybe other languages). Do note in your research that you're leaving out people from these communities.

I felt the survey focused on people who learn conlangs more than people who create them, but I managed to finish it even though I had to write "my own conlangs" in a lot of the data fields.

Lisa, I noticed you have even posted on the rather obscure Anthologica forum. Is there any particular reason why you have not done so on the ZBB?

By the way, I just remembered there are Chinese-speaking online communities too (on QQ and LINE, I think), and also at least one that is Japanese-speaking (last time I was curious about this, which I admit was about 5 years ago, there was one on 2chan, and there are likely others elsewhere).
