That's especially funny that (in addition to the false friends themselves) the English translations happen to be two sets of homophones - bear/bare and deer/dear. :rotfl:

(mhr) ик / ik = 1 (short form)
(nl) ik = I

(da) én = 1 (accent is optional)
(hu) én = I

(ja) 二 / ni = 2
(zh) 你 / nǐ = you (2nd person singular)
(sv) ni = you (2nd person plural)

(lt) du = 2
(de) du = you (2nd person singular)

(fa-TJ) се / se = 3
(fi) se = it (3rd person singular)

(mhr) ача = father
(cv) ача = child

(mhr) ик = one (attributive)
(cv) ик = two (short form of икӗ/иккӗ, used in collocations such as пӗр-ик 'one or two')

I often get confused as to the meaning of false friend because the definition can get highly specific at times. I'll give it a shot :)
