Asking for references about a learning languages web?

Postby ArturitoR2D2 » 2017-11-02, 13:03

Hi everybody,

Well, I'm always looking for new places to improve my oral languages, especially English and French, and also to improve my very basic Italian. I've just found a web that seems interesting, but I'd like to ask you all if you have heard about it and have some comments to make about.
The web is called Lingostan. I've registered, because it's free, and each native tutor or teacher (you arrange sessions with them directly) set their own price. I don't like to pay, but I'm considering it, because in most free exchange skype-based webs I've tried, people just set the meeting but they are let's say not very reliable (most of them not even say "sorry, I couldn't come"). I'm tired of that.
Also they have a section in which you can teach your mother tongue to others!
The link to the web in case you need it is http://www.lingostan.com
Any information about ir will be well received.
Thank you a lot in advance!

Well, I've decided tu explore a little bit more, and I have become Lingostan "tutor", that is, I am able to keep conversations in my mother tonque with people willing to practise it.

Easy and free, so why not. I'll tell you how it works form inside. My plan is to offer cheap sessions and "buy" sessions in other languages with this money, muahahaha...
