Have you considered trying to write to native speakers in the languages you say you're bad at instead of speaking to them in those languages? Or would that make you feel equally anxious?

I don't know what to say since I go to Finnish classes in secret :? I wouldn't know how to "justify" it to my parents. I've already been chewed out for "wasting my time" with such things.
