Have you considered trying to write to native speakers in the languages you say you're bad at instead of speaking to them in those languages? Or would that make you feel equally anxious?

What kind of excuses do you usually make? Or are you more honest in your answers?

I don't know what to say since I go to Finnish classes in secret I wouldn't know how to "justify" it to my parents. I've already been chewed out for "wasting my time" with such things.
