Potty potty!
Pissing dans la piscine!

Un deux trois quatre cinq dans la piscine pissing in the potty போட்டி

A false friend I fell victim to recently (thanks eskandar for pointing this out even though I should have known better because I included the Persian word in my vocab list!):

Persian (fa) غربت ghorbat - exile, loneliness
Urdu (ur) غربت ghurbat - poverty

Similarly:

Persian (fa) غریب gharib - strange, rare, foreign, alien; stranger
Urdu (ur) غریب gharib - poor

Foreigners are poor!

Something like that! The idea is that if you're exiled, you can indeed easily end up being poor.

See also English, where wretch originally had the meaning of "exile" or "outcast". (Compare German where the cognate Recke underwent an ameliorisation via the heroic outlaw trope and is now a poetic term for "warrior".)

(sv) deppig gloomy, depressed
(de) deppert stupid

The actual word that tripped me up was depprockare which means something like "gloom rocker" or "goth". It looked like "idiot rocker" and I knew that couldn't be right.

Turkish is more or less the same as Arabic:
(tr) gurbet - foreign land; homesickness
(tr) 120 pages, (ku) Hînker 3: Unit 5/8, (ar) Kalila wa Dimna: p.74/196
