Com certeza é uma palavra usada pelos paulistas, pode ser que não é algo exlusivamente paulista.

Os capixabas gostam de dizer que é uma palavra daqui. Ela é de onde?

(fr)
photocopillage nm - photocopying copyrighted material, ~piracy (portmanteau < photocopiage "photocopying" + pillage "pillage")
vivrier adj - food-producing

I saw these in the opening pages of a book of Savoyard folk tales, Savoie, une montagne de légendes by Lucien Chavoutier. I'm sure I'll get a bunch more new words as I keep reading.

Danger : Le photocopillage tue le livre

Danger: Photocopying kills books

En utilisant des données partagées par ces différentes sociétés de pasteurs vivant sur des pentes et dans un climat réfractaires à toute autre agriculture que vivrière, elles mettent l'accent sur l'unité de la civilisation alpine.

By using elements shared by these various societies of shepherds living on slopes, and in a climate, that resist any agriculture besides food production, they [Alpine legends] emphasize the unity of Alpine civilization.

When it rains, it pours; my wife said one phrase I didn't know before, then gave me two more as she was trying to explain it:

(pt-br) nos trinks
e.g. "Ele deixou tudo nos trinks"
(pt-br) xuxu beleza
e.g. "Ficou xuxu beleza depois dele limpar"

Both of these phrases mean "clean, tidy".

(pt-br) supimpa
e.g. "O trabalho do pedreiro ficou supimpa"

This means more that a job was well done. Interestingly, the adjective "supimpa" doesn't inflect for gender - I would have thought it should be "supimpo" if referring to "o trabalho", but apparently it's not.

The first two sound very 80s to me. The last one feels even older, having become a joke for "outdated slang". :)

Also, xuxu beleza means "all right", it's not specific to cleaning.

Good to know, thanks!

So it's basically just the same as "beleza" but more emphatic?

Another one (not slang, this time):

let's say it adds a flavor of something more "descolado" or "prafrentex".
