(fr)
photocopillage nm - photocopying copyrighted material, ~piracy (portmanteau < photocopiage "photocopying" + pillage "pillage")
vivrier adj - food-producing

I saw these in the opening pages of a book of Savoyard folk tales, Savoie, une montagne de légendes by Lucien Chavoutier. I'm sure I'll get a bunch more new words as I keep reading.

Danger : Le photocopillage tue le livre

Danger: Photocopying kills books

By using elements shared by these various societies of shepherds living on slopes, and in a climate, that resist any agriculture besides food production, they [Alpine legends] emphasize the unity of Alpine civilization.

I was doing some online shopping for my house decoration and found a word I didn't know: Macrame
Seems the translation of macrame in most of the languages is the same (french: macramé / english macrame, etc.)
I ended up buy a macrame wall hanging for my living room, but it was a good Macrame linguistic experience too :D
