Amazing! How the heck did you manage to read ling's conlang? o.o I'm still trying to understand it...
I know! You got superpowers, right? You should do a casting to join the Avangers...(?)

PD: Very good pronounciation in both my conlangs :D

My language does not yet have a name, though this is how "I love you" looks in it:

þeaþ línív qéþina.
[θɛəθ li:ni:v çjɛθɪnə]

Though as it is a pro-drop language, the sentence might also be rendered as follows (OSV word order):

þeaþ qéþina.
[θɛəθ çjɛθɪnə]

This is my first post, do please be kind!

I tried all my best but I doubt that I managed to pronounce ling's conlang correctly :P

Well, mine was a joke, but... pretty damn good!

As I'm sure you are well aware, you could easily avoid this kind of confusion by using the 'quote' function to address specific people.

Uh ... thanks?

Anyway, now that we've thoroughly explored the possibilities for ambiguous communication and the avoidance thereof, I seem to remember that this thread had a topic, and seeing as I helped steer this thread away, I'll help steer it back on course.

(Jattonkvo) Nee oos koofaat. [ˈneː ˈoːs kɤːˈvaːt] = I love you.

This may end up being closer to "I like you", since the literal translation is "You please me". We'll see what happens as I develop the conlang further.

I love you.

The conscript text should be aligned at the right of the page, but I have no idea how to do that.
EDIT:Thanks, Dormouse!
