Länkar för svenskstuderande / Links for students of Swedish

Postby Aszev » 2008-01-26, 1:56

This is a thread where you can share your links that could be useful for those who are in the process of learning Swedish. It can be anything from dictionaries and grammars to sites about dialects or etymology. Everything that could be interesting :)

Make sure that it is apparent what the site is about and what language it's in

http://swedia.ling.gu.se/

a simple but interesting course for beginners, with many exercises

a Swedish/English dictionary, possibly the best in the internet

a swedish corpus, excellent if you want to analyze in what contexts some words or phrases are used...
or if you're a geek

While in Lund, Skåne, I used to listen to a radio station whose name I cannot remember exactly. However, I think the name was close to P13 (something like pe-ett-tre). They used to play quite a lot of music, they had some entertainment shows (I recall things like 'tjej nummer ett, tjej nummer två' etc.). Now I'm back to my country and I'd like to listen to this channel over the internet. Can anyone help me as to which channel it is?

I think you mean P3. Here's a link to it.

Hej!
I´m trying to learn Swedish however I only started last month, so my Swedish skills are still very limited (That´s the reason why I´m not even trying to translate this post into Swedish). From my experience when learning German and English it really helped me to read some texts in the language right from the start and I would like to use this method with the Swedish lanuage as well. There´s one problem though- all the newspapers and stuff are way too complicated for me for now (I can understand about every 5th-10th word at best in those) and therefore I´d like to ask you if you can recommend me a website or somehing with very simple Swedish texts.
Tack!

Perhaps this might be adequate, although the Swedish presented there looks childish, but can it be easy otherwise?

I'm a beginner so I need simple sentences ;)
http://8sidor.lattlast.se/ This site is useful when I want to listen to some Swedish and understand/follow the text.
I also like this website http://sverigesradio.se/rs/english/ because they have the English version and I can relate to that when I read the Swedish version :)
