Kelimesi kelimesine çeviri: Erken kuş solucanı alır.
Gerçek çeviri: Erken kalkan yol alır.

Duolingo didn't prepare me for the translation of proverbs.

Duolingo, beni atasözleri çevirmeye hazırlamadı.

Son günlerde hava her zamanki gibi soğuk değil. Ama bu sevindirici mi, endişelendirici mi, bilemiyorum.

Maşın

It's so Azeri. :D In Turkish, it's "araba".

What if I start learning several Arabic dialects at once? Will I confuse them all?

Arapça'nın ayrı lehçeleri birden öğrene başlarım acaba mı? Hepsinden birbirine karıştıracak mıyım?

Unless you're already proficient in Modern Standard Arabic, you will certainly confuse the dialects.

Zaten modern standart Arapça'ya vakıf değilsen, elbette lehçeler kafanı karışıtırır.

Michael, there are no relative pronouns in Turkish! Kimin can only mean a question, not to connect two sentences. Also, you have to branch to the left (of the "I am going to marry" sentence). ;)

On another note, don't overuse -tır; in Turkish, it's not just the 3p.sg. copular, it adds an extra meaning to the sentence (an encyclopedical fact or a doubt).

You got the sentence structure right. :waytogo: I would have said:

Babası köyümüzün en güzel evine sahip olan kızla evleneceğim.

It was impossible to placate the despotic tyrant.

Despotik zorbayı yatıştırmak imkansızdı.

People rebelled and overthrew the tyrant.

Karşı in this case is in attributive position, meaning "[a] counter-{noun}".

Hmm ok... then it should be something like:
A democratic president who was selected later, restored the tyrant, who had been removed from office in a counter-coup which was organized by a powerful foreign state, as a puppet.

This translation made my head hurt.
