Awesome! :waytogo: Both guessed right liao! But dis two same as Indian language, no standard romanization. I lazy to type IPA.

American English (en-US) I've been trying to think in Malayalam more lately. Perhaps it would be good for that if I translated forum posts into Malayalam at least in my head.

American English (en-US) Meanwhile, I learned six quatrains of the Manipravalam epic poem Mayoora Sandesham (The Peacock's Message), even if I don't really understand what they mean. :P

[flag=]en[/flag] Wow, yesterday I was able to sustain a 40 minute long conversation in Hungarian! Was it really me?
[flag=]pt[/flag] Fixe!

American English (en-US) Does கண்டிப்பா mean something like 'why not'? If we Malayalees saw that, we would think it meant something more like "you see now?!" :P

I was told on a Tamil FB group (see my TAC for more info) that கண்டிப்பா means something like sure. Apparently it's a better way to translate "why not" instead of en illai. (Sorry I'm right now on a computer that doesn't have the Tamil keyboard.)

American English (en-US) That's okay, I understood what you meant. You can't say *[jɛn̪ˈd̪ɪnɪlla] or whatever in Malayalam, either, but you can say "[pɪnnəlˈlaːd̪e]!" if you want.
