Translation short sentence (help)

Postby FedeG » 2016-04-25, 14:50

Hello,

Can anyone help me translating in Estonian the sentence: "Living the present. Creating the future. Together."? It is for an artistic project on peace.

Thanks.
Fede

The best I could think of would be:
"Elades olevikus. Ehitades tulevikku. Üheskoos."
~ Living in the present. Building the future. All together.
Eesti keel (et) native, English (en) I can manage, Suomi (fi) trying to learn, Pусский (ru)&Deutsch (de) unfortunately, slowly fading away

Thank you very much! Which is the difference between "Elades olevikus. Ehitades tulevikku." and "Ela olevikus. Ehita tulevikku."?

You are welcome!

"Ela olevikus! Ehita tulevikku!" is imperative mood:
Live in the present! Build the future!

If you want imperative, then maybe even more fitting would be "we"-imperative:
"Elagem olevikus! Ehitagem tulevikku!"
~ (Let's) live in the present! (Let's) build the future!
