Well, I don't care what drama queens say, but the new scheme is AWESOME!! It's just GREAT! And I'm saying this as the UniLanger with the second highest post-per-day stat. The one with the highest PPD stat is a drama queen and so his rantings can be ignored.

Please don't change it. It fits my avatar really well.

One option would be to have two styles, a lighter one and a darker (greyer

) one, so everyone can choose whatever they prefer.

And statistics to show what people prefer. :twisted:

Perhaps the logged-in panel could have a lighter or darker field around each user name, so we will know who agrees with us at that particular moment.

Oh, finally I see that I'm not the only one who dislikes the dark grey colours very much. Unfortunately I've made the experience in nearly every forum where I have ever written something that sooner or later admins have the idea to use a new design, but in most of the cases they make it only worse instead of better.

No problem, have you gotten to the point where you don't notice that it's on? I honestly forget that I have it installed unless I'm on my computer at sunset when it changes (I have it set to the quick change).

I still kind of notice it, but then I do the '24 hour preview' and realise it's indeed much better. I've set it to the slow change; the quick change is too quick.

If the borders of flags is really an issue, such lengthy measures like editing the flags to include borders is ridiculously redundant. CSS can easily handle adding a border to all the flag images. However, just to jump on the bandwagon with everyone else, I'm not terribly fond of the grey.

I mentioned the same, Hashi, but it seems no one has access to the code for that, so they can just change images and background settings.

Until now I was browsing the forum from my mobile and the color scheme looked great as always. Now, I am not my desktop PC and I can see why everyone is angry about. No, I actually cannot see a thing. Contrast people! Accessibility! W3C standards! Grey and black are a pain to read for someone with my clearly not perfect eyesight. I shouldn't have to highlight the text in order to read it.
