Problem with "remember me"

Problem with "remember me"

In the last few days, almost every time I exit the browser I need to re-log in because the site stopped remembering me.
It wasn't like that before.
I already tried to delete the cookies and clear the cache (although I have no idea what that means), but that didn't help.
I'm using Safari, I hope that's not the problem.
