hrat na husle or hrat na husliach?

Postby chung » 2009-04-11, 21:38

Hello,

I would like to know which version of "to play the violin" is correct.

My English-Slovak dictionary published by LEDA says that it should be "hrat na husle"
My Slovak-Czech dictionary published by Kniha-spolocnik says that it should be "hrat na husliach"

A search on Google doesn't really help me since I see results of both "hram na husle" and "hram na husliach".

Thank you in advance
