Well, it's a crying shame IMHO, but it's amazing how Slovak tend to omit all diacritics when they write. Of course, before the advent of things like UniCode etc. I could understand that, but with today's technology? Well, granted it does offer a faster typing, but in any case.

Anyway, MMan, if you're interesting with full use of diacritics the sentence is as follows:

Bývala som v Košiciach a hovorím po slovensky.

Note also, that Slovak only has simple tenses, so while l2i50 didn't translate it wrongly, 'Bývala som' could also mean "I used to live". In this case, context is the decisive factor.
