Given how secularized Christmas is, I don't think Mountain Lions would be associating God with it.
I'm not sure it's so secularized south of the US, but that's also part of Mountain Lion Country.
Plus, it doesn't have to be Christmas or anything at all like it. It could be like a day to honour the dead or something that happens to be celebrated in the same month
Mountain lions have little use for such strange human festivities (even if they are not exclusively human).
For a mountain lion, the slaughter of a deer is the ideal (though also, hopefully, daily) source of joy!
