new language fasala

Postby Tychi » 2004-11-19, 14:05

Hello dear people

I just registered and I want to begin my activity at unilang.org with the presentation of my website http://www.fasala.com
I hope it is not against the rules to advertise one's own websites.

Fasala is a new language that I created half a year ago. Its grammar is simple with some, as I find, ingenious ideas and the vocab counts some 5000 words. There is a manual to download, but unfortunately only in German. Anyway, you'll get a good idea of what the language is like by looking at the translation of Platos dialogue "Kratylos" whose translation is in the handbook.
So far I didn't met anyone who was interested in my project, the more I would be glad if some of you would post some remarks about their impression of the language.

Thank's in advance for comments, Tychi

Tychi,

Welcome to Unilang!

There is a page for conlangs* and I'm sure someone will give the link to you so that you can decribe your language there. I'm currently downloading your manual; your project sounds interesting.

Why have you chosen these languages as a basis for your conlang? Do you speak them?

* The word conlang is a contracted form of contructed languages. In German it means just "Plansprache"...just in case you don't know the term. ;)

Hello

Thank you for the link to the conlang page. I' m gonna present my language there.

Tychi

P.s. One question was, if I speak the languages upon which I based the vocab of fasala. The answer is yes, but neither italian nor greek fluently.

I looked through your manuals (but haven't read all), it looks promising.

When and why have you decided to create a language on your own?

Thank you.

That was a year ago. The reason for it was just that I find it to be an interesting hobby. Others have their model railway or their do-it-youself-basement and I play with words and grammar.

Best wishes, Tychi

Dann wünsche ich dir viel Vergnügen damit. :)

Mehr Erfolg hättest du allerdings hier, wenn du es auf Englisch erklärtest. ;)
