mga salita pakiusap (words please)

Mga salita!

I am focusing on learning tagalog right now. I am using the course on Unilang to try to get a basic grasp of the grammar, and it's a great course :) I need some more vocab though. Can anyone list off some common words in tagalog that would be good to know? And perhaps part of speech (Noun, verb, adj.) if it's not too much trouble?

Also, if anyone is interested in learning together, let me know :) I am pretty much at a begginer level. I can recognize the language when it is spoken, and I can pick out words sometimes.

Salamat :P

There's also this: http://tagaloglang.com/. I believe someone recommended that to me once as a useful resource for learning basic Tagalog words and phrases and how to form some useful sentences that aren't too hard.
