Would anybody be so kind to help me with the translation of this?

I get multiple versions on online translators and I need a precise translation.

Thank you for your help. It is really appreciated.

Hi. I need to translate this paragraph for a friend of mine, who's interested in this case.

"The autopsy revealed that both the wife and the daughter were killed by electricity, but the investigators have insufficient evidence to put the husband behind the bars. Therefore, I don't know whether he ends up in prison or not. I don'T know for how long either. We have to wait to find out."

Thank you in advance for your help :)

Hi, can please tell me someone what this means?!
1/ Gỗ chống: Dài 2,2m; Vanh đo giữa cây cả vỏ từ 38 đến 50cm (Đường kính từ 12 đến 16cm); Keo=31.000đ/khúc; Bạch đàn 38.000đ/khúc . Tối thiểu phải có 30% loại vanh từ 44 đến 50cm.

I tried for hours now to find what is the meanig of 38.000đ/khúc wher I suppose that d stands for Vietnamese dong and /khúc must Be a measurement unit...
Any help highly appreciated.

đ/khúc = đồng/log of wood

vanh = carpenter's slang for diameter

- I've got through all the subjects/modules in biology so easily
- now only this one is left, it's easy, stepping over it is like stepping over a doorstep.
- I will only read it one and I'll remember it, the (female) teacher has promised to help me too.
very easy! (x3)
keep calm, learn it and remember it straight away.
have fun studying!

Wait... did the writer confuse physiology with biology? I though physiology was something like sinh hoc... and she wasn't studying for the biology exam, but for the physiology exam!

Ooops, sorry, it's my mistake. Not biology. Medicine - 醫學 - y học.

Oh right, that Sino-Vietnamese word should've been easy to guess for me...

Yesterday I went to the local store and I saw a di đà phật written on the till. I looked it up and it's the Vietnamese name for Amitabha. Since my knowledge of Buddhism is limited, can anyone explain to me, why it was there? Is it supposed to bring good luck or fortune? :D

Vietnam imported Buddhism from China. In Chinese it's 阿弥陀佛, and even if it's not the most important Buddha (Siddharta Gautama aka Sikhamoni), it's often used as short fot "Namo Amithaba" (南无阿弥陀佛 in Chinese): the sentence most often found in Buddhist prayers.
So Buddhists often pronounce it like a sort of general invocation, without meaning reference to that specific Amithaba, and pretty much without a particular reason.

I'm pretty allergic to those things since I'm a non-religious and non-spiritual person. They make me feel deeply uncomfortable.

Cam on. Yeah well I take people such as Jesus or Muhammad as authors, not some saintly figures. Religion has a cultural aspect to it which I find interesting.

I'm not sure which language Sikhamoni is (apparently Assamese?) or where you got it, but in Sanskrit, it's Śakyamuni, i.e. sage (muni) of the Śakyas.

Nah, just a bad approximation from Mandarin 释迦牟尼. I don't always check the words, so I went by memory, which failed.

Dunno where you got this but basically this is a love confession :D. So according to my translation it would be:

"I don't know how long I will have to suffer. I tried to hide everything deep down inside my heart. Many times we met, each time we faced each other, I pretend to be careless. Do you know that how I have to force myself? Why can't you listen to what my heart trying to tell you that I love you? But I cannot express my feeling with anyone. Why can't you listen to my heart which is still waiting for you in this place? Until the time you know it, I still hope that one day you will realize. Though I love you, though I can feel it. But deep inside, I don't have enough courage..."

Not exactly a perfect translation since I don't know the whole story but hope this can help :).

Can anyone tell me if this is Vietnamese? If so, what does it say?
