How would you translate "Pale Fire" into Kurdish?
It's the title of a novel by Nabokov.

Pale Fire in kurdish is :

Agrí Bétín (pronounces as Agry Betin) which literaly means warmless fire ,
you can also say Agrí Spí Hallgeraw ( Agrí = Fire , Spí Hallgeraw = white-like / pale)

hope that helps :)

Thank you! Someone in real life told me the other day it would be "agira rengaveti". Does this sound correct too? What would be the nuance of meaning?

Interesting! water-like fire sounds even more poetic!... or does it just sound silly in kurdish?

And I thought that the "renga-" part must be like turkish "renk" -colour and the "-veti" would be something like less as in "colourless"... not at all it seems? is veti water?
