Slovenian Translation

Postby kremalheira » 2007-12-03, 21:48

Well, this is kind of personal, hope you don't mind and you can help me. I will be happy to translate anything you want to portuguese:)

So, I want to ask a friend to have dinner but i want to make it original and so, i want to write the invitation in slovenian. Can you translate this for me?It's as follows:

"I would like to invite you to dinner and a movie at my place. Did you think I had forgotten the dinner I promised you? I will be very happy if you accept it, and make I will make it worthwhile.

Your Portuguese friend"

Thank you in advance!

Tvoj portugalski prijatelj.

I don't know how to say "make it worthwhile" in Slovene (I guess you could say something like make it worth your time) so I wrote that you will try to make a pleasant evening instead. Since I don't know how close you and your friend are I also have another suggestion:

(I promise you won't be sorry if you come.)
