visiting Vilnius

Next Thursday a bus full of Finns will come by ferry to Tallinn and me and my friends will join them to come to Vilnius. What do you guys suggest what are the places there that have to be certainly seen and some general information about the city would be also welcome, if somebody of you is from the capital city. I've seen Lithuania only on my way to 'Europe', never stopped, so I'm really looking forward to this trip now.

Awesome Dunno what to suggest you. At first tell, what is your main interest?

Hmm, maybe it has to be agreed by those Finns at first 'cause it's their trip; they are students or graduates of landscape architecture from Technical University of Helsinki (which happens to be situated in Espoo and is called 'teekkari' ).

Me, personally, I would be interested in people and language most of all , just to see and watch another beautiful culture with your own eyes.

Just came back with very good impressions. In a funny way Vilnius resembles me Tartu in a big scale. Maybe it's the classisist architecture. Anyway, very nice!

Well, the photos have to be loaded into the computer first by my friends (I forgot to take my own camera with me as always ).
