Szia Levike !

Mi a különbség a változtatás és változás? ( is this question well formulated? Or should I add " között" at the end ?

"Néha a legkisebb váltotatások hozzák a legnagyobb valtozásokat?"

Köszi :)

Meg fogok változni hisz jobb ember akarok lenni = I will change 'cause I want to be a better man
Meg fogom változtatni ezt a törvényt = I will change this law

Egy kicsit nehéz megmagyarázni, de gondolom, hogy valahogy így van:

változni = to change
változtatni = to make changes

változás = change
változtatás = change (being made on something)

Szóval az idézet valahogy azt akarja mondani, hogy "in order to change, you have to make changes".
Remélem van értelme annak, amit mondtam. :silly:

PS: Hívj Levinek, jobb.

Jajj, ezek a szótárak kellenek!
Én így tanultam meg annó észtül! Ott is ragozódnak a szavak és bizonyos esetek alakjai egyből ott voltak a szó mellett a tankönyvi szószedetben. Utólag visszagondolva ez hatalmas segítség volt és nagyon hasznos volt a jövőre!

Hi Levike.

I gathered a few questions and doubts about words and expressions.
Maybe you can help me out with them?

1-minden nap egy jó napot kivánok neked. Csakhogy ma van egy olcsó kifogásom, írni (leírni) ( hogy írjam ).

Is any of the above correct? Or none of them?
The expression intended is „....only that today I have a cheap excuse to write it down.”

---------------

2-küldtek volna egy seprűt (neked), de nem tudom, ha engedélyed van vezetni egyiküket.

I don’t know if you have the permit to fly one of them.

Is this expression correct?

-------------

3-Szóld ( szólj ? or mondd, mondj ? ) Gábornak, hogy meg kéne vásárolni egy nagyobb hűtőszekrényt.

-mondj Gábornak, hogy meg kellene vásárolni egy nagyobb hűtőszekrényt.

I am trying to approach as close as possible as Tell Gábor „he will need to buy” ( he is gonna have to buy )a bigger fridge.

--------------------------

4-My other question is a vocabulary one:

How do you translate the word „ curiosities” ( quaint ) ?

For example, when you go into an antique shop and you find lots of curious objects...

Az áruház tele volt ritkasággal. A magazin tartalmaz néhány érdekes cikket.

Would that be correct?

Thank You in advance. :)

3-Szólj Gábornak, hogy meg kéne vásárolni egy nagyobb hűtőszekrényt.

-mondd Gábornak, hogy meg kellene vásárolni egy nagyobb hűtőszekrényt.

OR: Mondd meg Gábornak, hogy egy nagyobb hűtőszekrényt kellene vásárolnia

Az áruház tele volt ritkasággal. A magazin tartalmaz néhány érdekes cikket.

Would that be correct?

Yes, it's okay, ritkaság (lit: rare thing) or érdekesség (lit: interesting thing) would both fit.

+ Corrected some of your sentences above. :)

Szia Levike !

How would you express " i am running out of excuses" or " I'm running out of gas?"

I am unsure of the translations and I do not see an example in Google.

My best bet would be "fogytán vannak a kifogásoim" as I attempt to express a continuity in present tense....

Apart from this question, and in case anyone is searching for this dream dictionary mentioned at the beginning of the thread,en.m.wiktionary.org is definitely the closest and completest for consultation I have found up to date.
If anyone, like me, is looking for a site where to check conjugations, possessives, cases etc. then this one is as "close to perfection" as it gets among all the online dictionaries I have, so far, encountered ( And beyond...).
Just in case you know of anyone else in this forum asking the same question. :)

Thank you in advance :)

Az teljesen jó így, ahogy van. Jól hangzik. :)

Or you could also say:
Kifogások nélkül maradtam. (I got left without excuses)
Hamarosan kifogások nélkül maradok. (Soon I'll be left without excuses)

De a te ötleted is jó, ha nem még jobb.

Hi Levi !
Me again... :)

My books and info on the net do not clarify all the aspects about conditional and subjunctive use.
Definitely Hungarian has its own rules, and I reckon it is a matter of reading and reading and getting used to all the aspects.
Although many of them are well explained in my grammar books and blogs on the net, still there are some blind spots...

Would this text be correct? I guess not... What would be the correct way to express that ?

annyiszor veletlenül kattintottam a "tetszik" gombra, hogy szerintem bőven elég lesz ( ahhoz ?? ), hogy tetsszen minden fénykép, amit feltöltsél ( felttölthessél ?? ) a facebookra a közeli években.

Thank You in advance ! :)

Jobban hangzik az egyszerű "feltöltesz"-szel.
