Help with a motto

I'm basically needing the phrase 'Conquer WIth Words' translated accurately into Latin for a personal project. I learned a little bit of Latin, but not much to be able to do this.

A friend proposed 'per verba vincimus', but it seems wrong to me. Or am I the one in the wrong here? Haha.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Placet! :waytogo: Cf. Verg. Georg. 3, 289 (vincere aliquid verbis = to master something in language).
