Postby Jove » 2009-12-01, 2:07

Amo te... I love you.
Et tu ..... and you

How does one know when to use Te or Tu? What is the requirements for the word, you? Thanks a lot for any advice.

Te is both the accusative and ablative form of tu, which is the nominative form. It is used in any place where an accusative or ablative would normally be found.
Most men are rather stupid, and most of those who are not stupid are, consequently, rather vain.

Thanks a lot. I'm studying on my own and haven't gotten to declining Tu yet. Makes a lot of sense.
