Ok, but sancti can either be saints (I forgot the 's', sorry) or holy, venerable, august, pious, just. The word is the same; interpretations are in each one.
Tam is used with adjectives, adverbs, and verbs, not nouns. Besides, the term "saint" only applies to texts that are from the Christian Era, so you shouldn't immediately assume it's "saint" if you do not know which text a passage is from (even if it is a Christian text).
