Radio station to air show in Latin on 2008.09.26

Postby duko » 2008-09-19, 10:50

Just found the news item: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080918/od_nm/latin_dc_1
Unfortunately I'm not in Berlin, and I don't know how I could be able to listen to it.

A Latin page on the radios website: http://www.kissfm.de/cgi-bin/WebObjects/KissFM.woa/wa/CMSshow/1758391?wosid=q60yMrxwOOD7ocKwZYQhGg
There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who don't.

A mani ad meridiem in aedibus stationis radiophonicae KISS tempora Caesaris rediisse videbuntur

Shouldn't it be "A mane ad meridiem"?

I've encountered somewhere a note that mane may have the ablative mani.

Mani is an archaic form that is occasionally used, however, mane is much more common and is what should have been used.
Most men are rather stupid, and most of those who are not stupid are, consequently, rather vain.
