*Nomen mihi
*in takes the ablative, not the dative
*quam would be better than hanc
*intelligere, not cogitare
*tamen can't be the first word in a sentence or clause
*geekorum linguae rex would be better
*the last clause barely makes any sense. "Therefore it is not great with this device/artifice/trickery?" Are you perhaps going for dolore, sadness/pain?

I suppose you could make Medieval Studies into studiis Medievalibus.

geekorum linguae

Would that be borrowed as gīchus, gīcha, gīchum or something along those lines?

Is it also correct the part with "pro cogitare textos" ? (Apart from changing cogitare to intellegere). I always have trouble with final clauses, but I would have written ut textos intellegam or ad intellegendum textos. I doubt on this latter possibility. Which of all these are correct?

I think it should be ad intellegendos textos, with the participle matching the (passive subject), shouldn't it?
BTW would textus or textum be used? (in the latter case it'd become ad intellegenda texta).

Oh yes, I completely missed that, that's a huge glaring mistake. Ad intelligendos textos or ut intelligam textos would both be acceptable, though the former would be a little better stylistically. I think pro intelligendo textorum is also possible, but not as good stylistically. And yes, it's a masculine noun.
