I mean, there aren't that many materials as for more popular languages. So what technique did you use? -Immersion (from tv, radio?) -Textbooks (which?) -Tandem exchange -other methods?
Agree, the bakarka series is very advisable, save for occasional errors. I used it myself to make sense out of all the apparently conflicting rules in Basque the way they taught it at school...
Hello, I only found it in Spanish (here in Spain). Beside that, is it truly apt for self-teaching, as it claims to be on its cover? I got "burnt" in the past with such advertisements.

I remember looking through it when i was in Spain and thinking it was more suited as a classroom textbook, but i may be thinking of another book. Maybe it's worth a second look...
For English speakers, "The Basque Language: A Practical Introduction" by Alan R. King is really nice and more comprehensive than other courses i've seen.
