Usually by speakers of languages that don't mark nouns used as direct objects. The thing I find aggravating about this attitude is when those people DO speak languages that mark PRONOUNS for direct objects: English, Spanish, to name two. They seem to have no objection that.
Russian marks most feminine nouns for accusative, but I have yet to see anyone complain about that......grumble when first learning yes, but once they learn it, suddenly it's no problem?
