Where did you find the courage to say that to him?
Come hai trovato il coraggio di dirgli questa cosa?

Una parola scritta è il più scortese delle reliquie.

"That was a less stupid question, asked in a profoundly stupid way."

Quella era una domanda meno stupida, ma fatta in un modo profondamente stupido.

I don’t think there‘s any doubt about it.

Non credo che ci sia alcuno dubbio.

When it's an adjective in the masculine form and it's used before the noun, it's always alcun, whereas it would've been alcuno if you had used it after the noun: dubbio alcuno, but this phrasing sounds a bit more formal and slightly old-fashioned.

Non si può avere troppi amici, ma si può avere troppi capezzoli.

You can get more of what you want with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word.

Puoi ottenere di più con una parola gentile e una pistola (piuttosto) che solo con una parola gentile.

I left out "of what you want" because it was redundant and the sentence sounds better without it.

Ho lasciato fuori "of what you want" perché era ridondante e la frase suona meglio senza.

You think you lose, you die, and that's the end. It's not.

Scientists at CERN seem to have discovered a new particle that might bring about changes in the Standard Model.

Gli scienzati del CERN sembrano avere scoperto una nuova particella che può apportare cambiamaneti nel Modello Standard.
