Tsau.

I'm trying to learn Estonian as I met a very special Estonian lady. It's her birthday next week, and I will be in Taiwan. Could anyone help me to send her a nice message from there? Could I say:

Palju õnne sünnipäevaks Taiwanist!
Happy birthday from Taiwan!

Or does that translate as 'Happy birthday IN Taiwan'? I don't understand declinations yet :(

Are there any other typical phrases Estonians would use for someone's birthday?

Thank you so much! Tänan sind nii palju!

Yes, this is correct.

Other phrases that I can think of are for example:
Palju õnne sulle sünnipäeva puhul!
Literally: Much happiness for you on your birthday!

... and more impersonal:
Palavad/Südamlikud õnnesoovid/õnnitlused sünnipäevalapsele!
Hot/Warmhearted (happy-birthday-)wishes to the "birthday child"!
NB: "sünnipäevalaps" is a general term for the one who has birthday, he/she doesn't have to be a child.
