Yes. Generally ぢ is only used where ち becomes voiced.
You're right. However, if speaking colloquially, I just use じゃない, not じゃないです - although it's perfectly ok as well The options in Japanese are endlessMeera wrote:じゃない です

Ah ok, I understand now. When I watched at the Hiragana I noticed that there were equal sounds. I've understaden that there was obviously a rule, but there wasn't on the site that I've visited
