How to say "there is" / "there are" in romanian ?

Hi !

I was wondering... How could i use those expressions in romanian ??

I would use "există" but i'm not certain...

How to say for example..

There are many dogs
There isn't enough food
There are many good people

You just have to use the "to be" verb.

There are many dogs = Sunt mulți câini
There isn't enough food = Nu este destulă mâncare
There are many good people = Sunt multe persoane bune

there is = este / e
there are = sunt
exists/exist = există

You can use "există" the same way you use the English "exists/exist"
Many dogs exist = Mulți câini există.
(It's correct but you don't hear it many times)
