'Iloinen' would work better here instead of 'onnellinen', which is quite a strong word. And there must be a comma before 'että' ;).

Seuraava haaste:

I put a comma after the word. (past tense)

Varislintu, could you maybe post a few sentences or a little text to translate? I just think it's a great way to learn.

Anything particular you want to practice, like grammar-wise? Well, I made this one:

It's a very stormy day today. The sky is grey and it's raining. A squirrel sits on a tree branch with paws hidden deep in its fur. The wind bends branches and water drops fly here and there.

Tänään on erittäin myrskyinen päivä. Taivas on harmaa ja sataa. Orava istuu puun oksalla
tassuin kanssa kätketty syvä turkissaan. Tuuli 'bends' oksat ja ..

Well , I think my biggest problem is the vocabulary and also the fact that I know pretty much all the basic grammar that i should know, but haven't been able to practice it a lot. I've been to a Finnish course for 2 years. But there was no third year , so now I'm a bit lost.

It's just hard to know what type of challenges are good or inspiring ;).

My floor is sticky because I dropped a jar or lotion and the contents spread everywhere.

Uh, this topic was too alluring not to give my two cents and proposing my own challenge (I assume this is how the chain was meant to be, wasnt it?) :D

Lattiani on tahmea, koska pudotin purkin voidetta ja sisältö hajosi.

I failed my exam because I started reading the book only the day before it

Minulla oli flunssa, siten minä jäin kotiin seitsemän päivää ja kuuntelin radiota.

Tyttö sanoi minulle, ettei hän halunnut olla missään tekemisissä sen rikoksen kanssa.

I wonder if it's wise to do that sort of thing.

Mietin vaan onkohan viisasta tehdä sellainen asia?

What do you think about the magical yellow unicorn who dances on the rainbow with a spoonful of blue cheese dressing?

Mitä tykkäät maagisesta keltaisesta yksisarvesta, joka tanssii sateenkaarella lusikallisen sinistä juustosalaattikastiketta kanssa.

Lets revive this thread!

Here is new haaste:

Childhood fantasies swept through his mind then, and the thought occurred to him that this could very well be a ghost.
