Reke teku kroz grad i slivaju se.

I saw a giant purple flying cow yesterday.

Juče sam video veliku, ljubičastu, leteću kravu.

It’s about time you stopped doing drugs. Cows are green, not purple.

Having worked conscientiously for the same firm for forty years, he was awarded a gold watch.

Who buys what where?

Ko kupi šta gde?

Word order in Serbo-Croatian is hard to master because of its rigidity when it comes to enclitics.

What else do you find difficult in Serbian?

I can't really take credit for this particular translation, BTW. I'd like to thank a friend who shall remain anonymous. :P

Everything is difficult.

Valjda jeste, u pravu si.

Prevod: Sve je teško.

Well, I don't think it's really that hard. It's still easier for an English speaker than Mandarin or Arabic, I imagine. But who knows - I grew up speaking it so I can't judge.

I wish I could go to Croatia again.

Želio bih da opet idem u Hrvatsku.

The person after me knows that this is a translation game, not a “The person after me” game and will answer accordingly.

I wonder why cows don't fly.

Čudim se zašto krave ne lete.

Moj otac trenutno spava.

When will he wake up? It’s been a long time already, right?

Kad će se probuditi? Već dugo, zar ne?

He's awake, and now, he's eating dinner.
