Is this modern or classical Hebrew?

I found an interesting old book at my library, which is a Hebrew language course. However, the book does not mention if it teaches modern or classical Hebrew. Judging on the two pictures below, what form of the language does the book teach?

The scriptural citations (e.g. Gen. 4, Gen. 18, Amos 7:14, 15) are kind of a giveaway, don't you think?
