Neizproti is very rarely spoken between Latvians and used when talked about 3rd person- es nespēju viņu izprast- I can't understand him.
We usually use nesaprast

Which means the same don't understand.

Zorba, "mīļotais" means "the loved one" and is in musculine, I think that you wanted to say "mīļa"
