Hi, I'd like to ask you to give me some examples of books, which could provide me some info about XXth century history of the Faroe Islands. It would be the best if written in English, German or Danish. Thanks a lot in advance.

The only book I can think of is:
Faroese: An Overview and Reference Grammar.
It was originally published in 2003 or 2004, and was published in 2nd edition this year (2012).
Sadly this is the only really good source in those languages you mentioned, that I know of.
