Hello!

I'm a language hobbyist (like everybody else here  ) and I'm currently playing with the idea of learning Georgian (or at least die trying..).
I'm currently working with the Kiziria and plan to use the "Lehrbuch der georgischen Sprache" by Abuladze/Ludden after that.
Has anyone used this book? Is it good? It looks as dry as a phone book, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. :partyhat:

I don't have it, so maybe I shouldn't contribute, but I read the preview pages on Google, and it looks good. Their treatment of both Georgian phonology and grammar is certainly more thorough than Kiziria's, so I think it would be a good follow-up after her book. At €44 I might pick this up too.

Non-german speakers still have the Aronson to go to..

And there is also some russian material around, I think.

Hello! I saw your post on the georgian language forum, about "Lehrbuch der georgischen sprache". Do you currently own the book, or do you intend to buy it? If you already have it, would it be possible for you to digitalise it (by any means) and share it with the ones that haven't got possibility to enter in possesion of it (I myself am one of this kind)?

Thanks in advance!

Best wishes,
Alex

Hello Alex!

I've got the book now, but I don't copy and upload books or download them, I'm sorry.
There are just too many moral problems involved here.. :|

A used copy of the previous edition is available right now for ~23€ (20€ for the book + 3€ shipping in Germany) on Amazon.de - I can help You buy it if You want! (Shipping to Romania might get a bit expensive though, but I didn't check that yet)

I was asking you to digitalize it just for this matter, because Amazon doesn't ship to Romania (I have no idea why... could be because of legal issues, God knows...). I don't intend any moral or copyright infrigements. So... could you check how much transportation to Romania would cost?

Thanks!
