Yeah, IIRC Aosta is the only Arpitan territory where there's still intergenerational transmission of the language. You won't here any children (or anyone, really) speaking "patois" in Lyons or Geneva, that's for sure.
I mean, what else could it be? I'm pretty sure it's not Piedmontese, Italian or French. The bits I can pick out, like "jò me sòi anada", "cantem", "angelet" and so on sound pretty similar to Occitan.
