Need help planning a trip to France...

Postby WallOfStuff » 2016-04-07, 4:25

Okay so I decided I'm going to try to go to France this summer. I've never been outside of the USA. So I have some questions, for any Americans who do travel outside the USA, preferably regularly, and preferably have been to France...

1. How do I go about getting a passport? How long does it take and how much does it cost?

2. What's the cheapest stay I can make (in USD)? Like, what's a price for a motel room on average?

3. Cost of meals, transportation, etc? I can ask bae about this too (I'll be visiting him).

4. Anything I need to be cautious of?

I plan on being there like... 5 days? Not sure yet. I wanna start planning ASAP though.

Hi WallofStuff,
I'd be happy to help you but I just need to know if you plan to travel to Paris or to another city?
Prices and everything are totally different, depending to where you plan to stay.
Paris is insane as you can imagine, but some cities are just pretty and not so expensive.
Sorry if I'm answering quite late
