I've never watched peanut butter commercial before and... yes, it has never been a thing here. I saw it in hypermarkets and it was imported from US I think and was very expensive. People just don't eat that here and won't eat in the nearest future for sure due to sanctions.

I remember when I was a kid, and we visited some American friends of my father living in Belgium,
we stayed there for a few days, and boy,
those breakfasts were horrible,
open sandwiches with strawberry jam (or supersweet peanut butter) and ham or pepperoni on top of it. It wasn't the smörgås I love.
