The place is a quite obscure place called Bukit Tinggi in Malaysia. This translates as High Hill, so you will probably find multiple places in Indonesia and Malaysia with that name.

It is indeed South-Korea. Although rare, there are still a few of these medieval villages left, which are definitely worth a visit when you’re in the area. A totally different world from high-rise, light-polluted Seoul and Pusan.
