Glad you like them (again).

Heaven's a Lie is probably the best Lacuna Coil song I've heard so far. :P As for Moonsorrow, they are indeed awesome, one of the few bands with songs upwards of 20 minutes that I like listening to.

I'd have to agree, that is probably the single best LC song ever. Hands down. And I'd have to say that the album it's one is one of my favorites.

As for Moonsorrow . . . . *starts looking around to find albums* :<3:

And yet another list!
Luckily I know most of them.
Love Iced Earth and Nevermore.
Nightwish, I like their newer singer.
And it's good to hear Blind Guardian again, I ought to get back into them.

Comalies is without a doubt my favourite Lacuna Coil album. I really should listen to it again.

I decided I'd introduced enough new stuff this last week, so I might as well go with some great live versions of some classics.

And yes, you should get back into BG again. It's almost a sin not to. :P

On a related tangent, I've decided that after I move next year I'm going to get me one of these beasts:

Lo and behold, pretentious Latin names. :P Some gothic/doom for tonight.

Lacrimas Profundere from Germany. This is their old sound. The new direction is mellower and less interesting imo.

Ava Inferi, Portugal.

I never really got into Ava Inferi, which is sad considering at one time I bought their albums. I think I even still have them lying around. I like strong vocalists, but I never got into the operatic style in metal. Which is a shame considering the music is great.

And I remember Mar de Grises, it's good to hear them again. Now I need to check out an album or two.

I'll check the other two out later. Cool picks none-the-less Draven, thanks! :)

HUGE Agalloch and Dream Theater fan here! Nice song picks! :D

Also a big Breaking Benjamin fan, and although I'm not sure if they'd be classified as metal or hard rock, they're heavy enough that I think I can add them here:

I'm liking it, good band. I'd consider them rock though, but if you want to add them then I'll just go ahead and add:

[flag]en-us[/flag] August Burns Red – White Washed (progressive christian metalcore)

Well if we are going to open it up a bit from metal, I'll introduce something well out there:

Should I post some metal-sounding industrial music in here too? :para: Other than Rammstein and Oomph!, of course.

Seismic Origin, a local melodeath band in Saigon - and looks like they're the first band in the entirety of Vietnam that plays proper melodic death. The guys are still in uni and yet to release any studio album. The whole tiny metal scene in Saigon is still waiting! I saw them perform live twice, along with other fresh uni bands - and was very positively surprised. Never thought something like this would happen around here. Here's their "Fly" demo.

What the hell, why not? As long as it's heavy what's the difference? :D

Seismic Origin are pretty cool.

I'll go for some home-grown stuff today I think:

[flag]en-nz[/flag] Shihad – Comfort Me (hard rock, can still hear the groove elements they used to have though)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vgRmSHsggo

[flag]en-nz[/flag] Razorwyre – Battleshark (power/thrash metal)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W37TWNv0fUI

[flag]en-nz[/flag] Blitz – Key to Your Heart (heavy metal)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPkmHdCM_q4

[flag]en-nz[/flag] Black Boned Angel – Supereclipse II (drone metal)
