I've started working on a new conlang, it's a Slavic-Romance language, still has no name. I finally have enough grammar so I decided to translate this story. Here's the translation:

Lesica bävja vrë späk låčna. Polä pa vidir vråna na danä, ki v sojen kłunä dörživja kås syrja. Tülä täsin, pumislyr nu zakërčir vråni: "Ti si sku läp! Če že toje čantanje tku läpu kur toj bjeleč, alorë si narläpši tič wot säh tičů."

English:
The fox was hungry yet again. Then, he saw a raven upon a fir holding a piece of cheese in its beak. This I would like, he thought, and shouted at the raven: "You are so beautiful! If your singing is as beautiful as your looks, then you are the most beautiful of all birds."

Not so difficult to understand, not just deciphering it through English, but I can understand them without that. We even have a few similar words or from the same root(s). :D

Updating Selvesc. The sound changes are different now, and the orthography has changed with them, becoming much more morphophonemic. And for some reason the final sentence is bursting with grave accents. :P

[la ˈbɔlp aˈvɛva də ˈnu ˈfamɪ | alˈlɔɾ vɛˈzaʊ̯ ʊnɪ ˈkɔɾf ˈsɔbɾʊn aˈdʑɛɾɪ kɪ tɛˈnɛva‿ʊ̯n ˈmɔs də ˈkaɕ ˈdɛnts lɪ ˈbɛk | ˈas ˈtɕɛlla kamaˈɾaɪ̯ peˈzu ˈɛsa ɛ tɾɛˈtu ˈallɪ ˈkɔɾf | ˈsits ˈveʊ̯ ˈbal | ˈse lə taʊ̯ ˈkant ˈas ˈse ˈbal ka lə ˈtaʊ̯ asˈpaɪ̯t ˈsits lə ˈmaɪ̯s ˈbal ˈpɾɛnts lɪs ˈavɪs]

The fox was hungry yet again. Then, he saw a raven upon a fir holding a piece of cheese in its beak. This I would like, he thought, and shouted at the raven: "You are so beautiful! If your singing is as beautiful as your looks, then you are the most beautiful of all birds."

Ardlang has been updated since the first time I wrote the translation, so here's the new one.

English:
The fox was hungry yet again. There he saw a raven upon a fir holding a piece of cheese in its beak. This I would like, he thought, and shouted at the raven: "You are so beautiful! If your singing is as beautiful as your looks, then you are the most beautiful of all birds."

Ardlang:
Al vulpe famed nov-di. Hu vided un kra sur un abiet, derjint un kez-pyan in huy bik. "Me ud ay he" he pensed, wa grited a kra: "Tu es so sundar! Agar tuy gan es tam sundar quam tuy feno, tu es al zwi sundar avis."
