I cannot believe I didn't post this site :
http://www.khyber.org/

Khyber.org is basically a site for pushtuns and all about pashtuns. It has Pashto jokes and proverbs. Some news, articles, maps, and a list of Pashtun tribes. It even has music and pictures. I visit this site at least once a day.

The VJ Movement is an international network of video journalists who cover stories from all parts of the globe. The Afghanistan section has news reports (3-5 minutes long) in Pashto with optional English subtitles. This is a great way to practice your Pashto comprehension skills and also increase your understanding of Afghanistan.

The site also has a very interesting interview with Asrar Ghani, the journalist who made the above reports. He discusses the situation in Afghanistan, his crew, and why he entered journalism. (Also with optional English subtitles)
ख़ुसरो दरिया प्रेम का उल्टा वा धार । जो उतरा सो डूब गया जो डूबा सो पार | अमीर ख़ुसरौ दहलवी
O Khusro, the river of love runs in strange directions. |
The one who enters it drowns, and the one who drowns, gets across. |
Amīr Khusro of Dehlī (1253–1325 CE)

You're welcome, guys. I should be thanking you two for your passionate lobbying to get the Pashto forum created :waytogo:

If only the interest in Pashto hadn't dissipated so quickly after its creation!

How many people are actively learning Pashto in this forum?

Same happened with the Azerbaijani forum, it is not active any longer and nobody is dicussinng anything (we don't seem to have any active native speaker there anyways).

I think this board is pretty active. I mean, not as much as other ones, but for a newish board for a smaller, less popular language, you guys are chugging right along! :)
