Has anyone started to learn Aramaic or is interested in doing so?

What form of Aramaic? Biblical? Syriac? Modern?
If either of the first two (or both), this sub-forum might be a better place to start a discussion. I could be wrong, but I think there is a thread already too.

I'm currently studying Classical Syriac. I really like its grammar and the way it sounds, or at least the way I think it sounded. It's such a pity that its only living descendant (Modern Aramaic) has few speakers.
